7/10/11 - 7/23/11

7/23/11- It has been really hot for the past couple of weeks so we have been doing a lot of indoor activities. Today the kids were working on these art projects. They both made things out of model magic clay and put them on the paper to give them a 3D effect. Pretty creative!!

7/22/11- It is HOT. We had a heat index of over 120* today. This was the temp (and heat index at 4). Some people were actually trying to cook on the sidewalk. We stayed nice and cool inside.

7/21/11- Dastan is 5 months old today. He can sit up for about 30 seconds or so at a time. I had to be quick to get this picture.

7/20/11- The boy's playing "Lego Pirates of the Caribbean" to keep from getting too bored.

7/19/11- I love Dastan's dark hair. He is the black sheep of my kids.

7/18/11- The boys each made a New York City. They put on a "program" with an invitation and everything. It was so cute.

7/17/11- We had a water balloon fight today, but daddy had some fun getting the boy's wet with the hose.

7/16/11- Dastan loves to stick out his tongue. He has it out all the time.

7/15/11- I guess Dastan was trying to put his bib on by himself. I think he needs some practice.

7/14/11- After an extremely long battle with USCIS (INS), Ian finally became a US citizen today. It's sad that it took a news stroy to make this happen after he served in the US military for eight years.

7/13/11- Ian has a very unique story about being adopted and not being a citizen. Today they did a news story about him.

7/12/11- I decided to do a photo-shoot of my little guy today. Both his big brothers helped. Triston held the light reflector and Keegan was making him laugh while he stood behind me. I love this shot of him sucking on his hand, he does it all the time!

7/11/11- It was POURING outside tonight and Ian and our neighbor were out in the rain talking. They were there until lightening struck a little to close for comfort.

7/10/11- Supper time. "Don't worry mommy, I've got this!"

6/19/11 - 7/9/11

I have been very busy lately and while I have missed a few weeks of posting on my blog, I am still taking pictures everyday.

7/9/11- Apparently "Doggie" was being to loud, because the kids put a muzzle on him.

7/8/11- The final lift off of a shuttle. This was space shuttle Atlantis on it's last voyage into space. I'm really glad I got to share this moment with my kids.

7/7/11- We have our own version of the Hollywood walk of fame right in front of our house.

7/6/11- Keegan has my old camera and he LOVES to take pictures. He takes pictures of all kinds of things, I even found one of Rachael Ray on there. My favorites are when he turns the camera on himself.

7/5/11- I watched a lot of the Casey Anthony trial and I am one of the few that was relieved she was found not guilty. She very well could have done it, however there wasn't enough evidence to prove it.

7/4/11- Happy 4th of July!

7/3/11- Dastan has been rolling over a lot lately (tummy to back) and this time he took his mat with him. The reason this picture is blurry is because it's a still from a video I took. There is also evidence of the couponing we do on Sunday's.

7/2/11- Dastan sat up by himself for about 4 seconds before he fell over. SN: This outfit was Keegan's.

7/1/11- This little guy hopped in our door when I went to get something out of the backyard. He was a big hit with the kiddo's. BTW he is in a laundry detergent cup in this picture.

6/30/11- Keegan loves to read "burks" even though he can't really read yet.

6/29/11- My boy's watching Sponge-bob!

6/28/11- This was one heck of a storm. I love how this picture shows the storm rolling in.

6/27/11- Kristie and I took all the kids to Target. We figure it's better to go crazy together then to go crazy alone. The only ones that were good were Dastan and Mel.

6/26/11- It's a tough economy and we are trying to save money. I am starting to use coupon's and I went to Kristie's to get some good tips and get everything together.

6/25/11- Applesauce...yummy!!

6/24/11- We tried to make homemade play-dough but it didn't go very well. We will have to try it again.

6/23/11- My little guy likes to fall asleep like this.

6/22/11- I can't believe how big Dastan is. There is five years difference between them.

6/21/11- My happy baby is 4 months old today.

6/20/11- I love baby feet and I really love this picture. I needed Triston and Ian's help for this, and Dastan kept grabbing the sheet and trying to stick it in his mouth. All in all, I think I got a great shot.

6/19/11- We had some very delicious smore's tonight.

6/5/11 - 6/18/11

6/18/11- Our friends moved away today. It's always hard when that happens but at least it is easy to keep in touch.

6/17/11- Today was Triston's last day of 3rd grade. He did his hair himself although at first it was spikes AND a mohawk.

6/16/11- I really love that my kids like bugs (since I don't at all). Triston picked up this praying mantis and thought it was pretty cool.

6/15/11 - Poor Keegan is such a klutz. He has a hard time healing because just as one starts to heal, he gets another one in the same spot.

6/14/11- Dastan tried potatoes and carrots today. He didn't really seem to like either.

6/13/11 - Trison had an award ceremony at school today. He received the language arts award. So proud of him.

6/12/11- Triston decided he wanted to rearrange his room today. I like how it turned out.

6/11/11 - Playing in the rain.

6/10/11 - Dastan's first encounter with a turtle. He seemed more interested in his foot then the turtle though.

6/9/11 - Another owie for Keegan. We need to buy stock in band-aids.

6/8/11 - Dastan's first time in the pool, and he liked it after the initial shock of the cold water. Keegan had a lot of fun swimming as well. He is really beginning to like the water.

6/7/11 - Bear is so fat that his head takes up the whole bowl.

6/6/11 - Keegan didn't feel well this morning. After a few hours of lying on the couch watching cartoons though, he was all better.

6/5/11- Dastan LOVES to kick and splash in the tub. He has to have a bath every night or he won't go to sleep.
