Week Eight 2/14- 2/20

2/20/10- I wasn't feeling well on Saturday and we were supposed to go over to a friends house so Ian took the boys with him for the evening. I was bored out of my mind! I know that sounds crazy right? I thought I would be able to watch something on TV but there was nothing on!!! So I turned to my netflix movies and they were a nice way to relax!

2/19/10-I organized my craft corner today. It feels so nice to have everything all neatly put into place. The bookshelf is new from IKEA. We also got a new coffee table from there. I LOVE IKEA!!!
2/18/10- Since school was out for a couple weeks the kids had to do Valentine's late. Triston is putting his together (on our new coffee table). He drew a picture of Sponge-Bob and I printed a bunch of them off and he put them on candy heart boxes.

2/17/10- Triston FINALLY has school again!!! This was the second (yes I said 2nd) day in February that he went to school. Even though it was a 2 hour delay I was still super excited. I was afraid that if they missed any more school they wouldn't have a summer!

2/17/10- I'm the handy one in our house. I like putting things together and fixing things. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. In this picture I am putting together one of our new bookshelves!

2/15/10- Becky Higgins challenged us to pick a word to describe how we were feeling today and then take a picture of it. I had two words that contradicted each other. Unmotivated Determination! I was so unmotivated to get laundry done but also determined to do it!

2/14/10- HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

Week Seven 2/7- 2/13

2/13/10 - We decided to get creative today, we made things out of air dry clay. Triston made a heart frame, Keegan made a "coller coaster" pronounced like roller. I made the T and K. We are going to paint them when they dry!

2/12/10 - We were cleaning today and Triston wanted to vacuum. I sure wasn't going to tell him no!
2/11/10- When I look at this picture it makes me think of the song "We Built this City." I love how creative they were using different toys to build a city!

2/10/10- Snow has been a MAJOR part of our week, we were snowed in for 6 day's. They are calling it Snowmagedon. My picture for the day is of our cats looking at the massive amounts of snow we have! This was the second Blizzard for the week, you can even see the snow falling in this picture!

2/9/10- What do you get when you combine 18 bullets and a bored kid? You get this!

2/8/10- The boy's were laying down watching a movie with their feet crossed. I used it as a moment to branch out in my photo taking skills.

2/7/10- The kids had a blast building a snow fort form the snow we got over the weekend. By the end of this week we accumulated 42-45 inches of snow. That's taller then both my kids folks! (Triston is holding onto the top of the NO PARKING sign!)

Week Six 1/31-2/6

2/6/10-I have two pictures for today the one with the boys at the window is going in my journaling spot for the day. The other one needs no journaling as it is just A TON of snow!

This pic (below) was taken at 1:30; it didn't stop snowing until around 9. We ended up having 30+ inches and we are expecting more on Tuesday!
2/5/10-I joined Scentsy earlier this week. I was afraid that I wouldn't get my kit until Monday or later because of the snow we were going to get but it surprisingly came late in the afternoon on Friday....I was so excited!!

2/4/10-I got creative with Keegan's hair after bath time...he didn't like it! He wanted "to look like Keegan!"

2/3/10-If I sleep next to the nerf gun then they can't shoot me with it, problem solved!

2/2/10-I took Triston to wal-mart to pick out his Valentine's...we are going to do something a little more creative though.

2/1/10-Triston stuck in the "taco"....this is what happens when they won't just sit in the chair!

1/31/10-We had a pretty sick Keegan today. He just wanted "to rest" so we brought his mattress downstairs so he could watch movies too.

Week Five 1/24/10 - 1/30/10

1/30/10- We got to talk to Mimi tonight on Skype. It was so nice to get to see her even though it was only on the computer.

1/29/10- We got a Wii today. It's so nice that we can all play the games together and have fun doing it. We did bowling earlier and Keegan kicked all our butts.
1/28/10- I don't bake. I love cookies I just don't like making them. So, the fact that I made some deserved to be my picture of the day.
1/27/10- Triston, my quirky little kiddo giving us a cheesy grin.126/10- I cleaned out my fridge today...we actually have room in there now, yay! Guess it's time to go shopping.

1/25/10- Triston had a function at school tonight where local clubs were stationed all around giving out information. Triston got to try on a fencing helmet and glove. I think he has some growing room.

1/24/10- My mom taught me how to knit when she was here in October. I have now ventured into knitting in the round with two circular needles. It was a bit confusing at first but I think I've got the hang of it now. Thanks mom!
