2/13/11 - 2/26/11

It has been a whirlwind of a month! I couldn't post last week because I was in the hospital enjoying my brand new baby boy. We have been so blessed that he was born healthy and was able to stay in the room with us. It was such a different experience then with my other boys, who by the way love being big brothers.
2/26/11- Early on in my pregnancy I had an idea of some pictures I wanted to take once the little one was born. I knew I wanted to get them when he was just a few days old, and with the help of my mom and Ian I was able to get some great shots! Project Life has really helped to improve my photography skills.
2/25/11 - Keegan had Cowboy day today at school. We found out yesterday and we don't have any cowboy stuff. Thankfully we were able to borrow this from my friend Anna so Keegan could dress up.
2/24/11 - My mom and I making a car seat cover for the little one. We are going to make receiving blankets and burp cloths as well!
2/23/11 - We are going home today!!
2/22/11 - My three boys together for the first time. I love them so much and I couldn't imagine my life without them!!
2/21/11 - Today at 8:01 pm Dastan Alexander came into the world. He weighs 5lbs. 11oz. and is 19 inches long!! I had a very smooth labor and I was able to deliver him myself, which is something I will never forget. My mom got to be here for his birth, so she has seen all three of my boys take their first breath! We are so excited that he is finally with us and most importantly he is healthy.
2/20/11 - My mom and I went shopping today and since she drove out here her car was pretty dirty so we went to the car wash.
2/19/11 - We went out shopping today and it was so windy and dry that there were brush fires. We drove through the smoke of this one before they decided to close the interstate. It was crazy and my boys were pretty scared.
2/18/11 - Mimi's here!!!
2/17/11 - My friend Anna and I went for a walk to the park which is kind of far from our house. Keegan of course had to go potty while we were there so I told to to go behind a tree. Notice he isn't standing behind the tree but in perfect view of the drivers on the street. Gotta love little boy's!
2/16/11 - Keegan and Grandma playing soccer on one of the beautiful days we have been having.
2/15/11 - Triston reads for 20 minutes every night. He is really getting good at it and for the most part he enjoys it.
2/14/11 - Keegan had some time before school and wanted to play outside. We told him he couldn't get dirty, so he decided to play with his tractor while sitting like this.
2/13/11 - My handsome boys ready for church.

Hope everyone has a great week!!

1/30/11 - 2/12/11

For those of you that follow my blog on a weekly basis, I wasn't able to post last week because I was in the hospital. I went into the hospital on the 3rd with strong regular contractions. At that point in time I was 33 weeks 5 days along, which was too early. I was in active labor and so they gave me strong meds to try and get things to stop so they could give me steroids to help little man's lungs develop. The goal was to keep me pregnant for at least 24 hours. Well I guess the meds worked really well because it's been almost 2 weeks and he hasn't come yet. Both of my other boys had been born at this point in time, so this is all new to me. I was on bed rest for quite awhile but the Dr's have given the go ahead that he can come whenever he decides to come!

2/12/11 - I have never been this pregnant before so I wanted to make sure and get some pictures of my ever growing belly!

2/11/11 - Keegan and Grandma making cinnamon rolls to go with the chili that Daddy is making. Side note, I'm no longer on bed rest, yay!!

2/10/11 - Bear decided he wanted to help make lunch today.

2/9/11 - I got to go home today, I am on couch rest for now but at least I get to get out of the hospital. The boys are having a great time playing with Grandma, and I am having a great time watching!

2/8/11 - This picture was taken on the 2nd of this month but since I am still stuck in the hospital, I wanted to see some blue sky! My mother-in-law flew in to help take care of the boy's and that has really helped take the worry away.
2/7/11 - My feet are so swollen, and I am so bored. At least I know that everyday I am still here, he is able to get stronger.
2/6/11 - Still in the hospital and going a little stir crazy. The boy's came to visit me tonight and the nurses had fun making them doctors. They sure are cute but I think I'll stick with the doctors that have gone to school!
2/5/11 - I am still in the hospital and the steroids have had a chance to do there job. I have been hooked up to the fetal heart monitor since I got here. Little man's heart rate looks great!
2/4/11 - Last night I started having strong regular contractions, and it turns out I was in labor. Since 33 weeks is to early they gave me meds to stop things. They also gave me steroids so that his lungs would develop. It was a very long night.
2/3/11 - I decided I wanted to have a belly mold made with this pregnancy since it's our last one. Ian did a great job and I love how it turned out. This is him getting things ready...it's a VERY messy project!
2/2/11 - This is one of my favorite belly shots. I am 33 weeks 4 days in this picture.
2/1/11 - We are making the boy's Valentine's early in case I go into labor around Valentine's day. I love how when Keegan colors he gets his tongue and mouth involved.
1/31/11 - One of my friends picked Keegan up from school today and they stopped by Dunkin Donuts and got a donut for Keegan and Triston. It was nice of Keegan to think of his older brother, although I don't think it was his idea.
1/30/11 - Keegan was trying to do push-ups but he wasn't doing them quite right so Daddy helped show him how it's done.

Hope everyone has a great week!!

1/23/11 - 1/29/11

1/29/11 - Ian took the boys to a very fun birthday party today. I wasn't able to go because I had been having contractions all night and I needed to rest. The party was a princess party (for three girls) but they did some very cool stuff for the boys too! My little "pirates" got knighted and I think the face painting was pretty awesome!
1/28/11 - These pictures were taken in the middle of the month but I still wanted to put them in here. I was not feeling well today so I just decided to use this as my POTD!
1/27/11 - With all the snow we got (about 3 inches) the boy's school of course got canceled. We went out in the afternoon and made a snowman together. Since I am very pregnant we didn't roll the snow to make the base we just kept piling it up. Keegan was off on the other side of the yard, and when I looked over at him he had the middle all done (about 6 feet from the base and on the ground). He was pushing it with all his might toward us. We went over and helped him and the three of us were able to get it on the base. I think we made a pretty cute snowman!!
1/26/11 - We finally got some snow! I took this picture out our back door at about 9:30 at night and I think it's one of my favorites!!
1/25/11 - Triston got the Disney edition of Apples to Apples for his birthday. We played it tonight for family game night and Keegan (who didn't know what he was doing) won. We weren't even trying to let him win. Notice how Keegan is holding his cards.
1/24/11 - Keegan was so tired he didn't quite make it to his bed. At least he was able to get covered up.
1/23/11- Triston lost another tooth. He looks so cute with his toothless grin!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!
