5/8/11 - 5/21/11

5/21/11- My little man is 3 months old today. He is growing up so fast and we are enjoying every minute of it. SN: According to a group of people, the world was suppose to end today. It didn't.

5/20/11- Keegan graduated from preschool today. It was very hard for me to get a picture of him smiling because his smile was broken.

5/19/11- Triston started his SOL testing today. SOL stands for Standard Of Learning. I know he will do great, but he was pretty nervous.

5/18/11- These are my wedding rings. The small one I wear on my right hand as my engagement ring, and the bigger one is my wedding ring on my left hand.

5/17/11- Angry Birds. We all like playing this game and it is VERY addictive.

5/16/11- We have a new neighbor. I have seen this little guy on our porch several times and was finally able to snap a picture before he took off.

5/15/11- I am part of a mommy group on facebook. There are 81 of us, and we are all over the country. Our babies were all due in March 2011. Today I was able to meet one of my fellow mommies, Nancy. Our little guy's are only 4 hours and 5 min apart even though they were born on different days.

5/14/11- Dastan grabbed the rattle on his bouncy seat and then fell asleep while holding it.

5/13/11- He loves his frog.

5/12/11- Keegan woke up this morning with this on his face. I took him to the Dr right away and found out it is poison ivy. He is on benedryl and steroids. He pronounces it poison I.V. and apparently got it from a rock.

5/11/11- Daddy & son cuddle time.

5/10/11- I made a list of things that need to be done around the house and was able to get 8 of them done today.

5/9/11- Dastan loves looking at, smiling at, and talking to his octopus on his play mat.

5/8/11- So grateful for medicine to help us feel better.

5/1/11 - 5/7/11

I am almost completely caught up in my Project Life album, I just have a bit of journaling to do. Hopefully I will be done with it by the weekend so I can take (and post) pictures of what I have done so far. I have been adding pages in between some weeks and I really like that, it lets me tell a bit more of the story. Here are this weeks pictures, enjoy.

5/7/11 - We have some sick kiddo's in our house today. All three of them have colds. Keegan really didn't feel well because he took a couple naps all on his own.

5/6/11 - Triston drew this today, he said it's the Florida coast line. I love my kids artwork.

5/5/11- Triston sporting his new glasses. They are brown (his favorite color) and were made by Pepsi. I didn't know Pepsi made glasses. They sure look good on him.

5/4/11 - Triston brought this little guy home today, such a cute little critter. We watched him crawl around for a bit and then Triston took him outside and let him go.

5/3/11 - Poor Keegan, he just doesn't get along with sidewalks. They keep jumping in front of him and tripping him. This latest owie came a day after the first one (the scab) on his "obo" (elbow)

5/2/11 - I made this mobile for Dastan today. It took me most of the day to make but only cost about $10. Dastan kept trying to help (which is why it took so long) but he loves it!!

5/1/11 - Tonight right before bed, I went on facebook and saw several posts about Osama Bin Laden being killed. I quickly turned on the news which confirmed it. This is President Obama speaking about it. Side note: I felt like singing "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" all day Monday. I actually hummed it to Dastan while feeding him. I guess I was not alone in that as 2 of my sister in laws said the same thing on facebook Monday morning.

Eleven weeks old

Dastan you are 11 weeks old today. I can't believe how fast you are growing up and all the things you are doing. I am loving every minute of it so I am going to share some of the things you have been up to.

1) You have gotten so big. At your 2 month appt you weighed 11lbs 3oz. You also have some very chubby thigh's...I love it.

2) You startle yourself everytime you sneeze.

3) You love to look at pictures on the wall.

4) You have discovered your hand...so far it's just the one hand but I'm sure you'll find the other one soon.

5) Your chin quivers a lot, so does your left leg.

6) You usually only get up once between 11pm & 5am.

7) You have made friends with the Lion on your bouncey seat.

8) You are in 0-3 months clothes.

9) You have had rice cereal twice, you didn't like it either time.

10) You like to wake up around 5 and think that is the time to start the day. When I try to put you back to sleep, you just smile at me.

11) You love to take baths now, I think it's one of your favorite things to do.

12) You don't like getting onesies put on.

13) You drink 7-8 4oz bottles in a 24 hour period.

14) You can sit in your bumbo seat for a few minutes at a time, although you don't really like it yet.

15) You use your "plug" to help you fall asleep.

16) You tend to get fussy around 4pm.

17) You kick like crazy in the bathtub. It is so much fun to watch you having so much fun.

18) You can hold your head up pretty well when you are laying on somebody's chest, but not so well when you are on the floor.

19) You love to watch the DirectTV logo bounce around the TV screen.

20) You are in size 1 pampers diapers.

21) You smile all the time, my little smiley guy.

22) You love to look at the octopus on your play mat.

23) You love to kick your legs when you are laying down. Daddy gave you the nickname "Happy Feet."

24) You always sleep with your hands above your head.

25) You have mommy and daddy wrapped around your little fingers.

4/17/11 - 4/30/11

I apparently have been having some trouble posting every week. I am however still taking pictures everyday and that's what counts right?

4/30/11 - It's eye exam time again, and the boy's did great. Triston is getting new glasses but Keegan doesn't need any...yet.

4/29/11 - The Royal Wedding.

4/28/11 - Pat came over with her grand kids, Samantha and Gabriel this week. The big boy's had fun playing with Samantha, Dastan woke up long enough to play with Gabriel, and I had fun talking with Pat. Side note: Gabriel is 3 days older than Dastan.
4/27/11 - This is what I saw when coming out of Target tonight. Pretty scary stuff. We live about 5 minutes from here.
4/26/11 - After having my camera for around 2 years, I located the macro setting on it. I have been having a lot of fun taking close pictures of things. I took this shot of Dastan's elephant and I think it gives him a bit of a personality.

4/25/11 - Since it's Spring break this week I have been having the boy's help me out more with Dastan. Triston was changing a (wet) diaper. He did a pretty good job too.

4/24/11 - Happy Easter! Our very own little Easter bunny, Dastan was 5 days old when I took this picture.

4/23/11 - Keegan had a tick on his back today...ouch!

4/22/11 - Triston and his attitude.

4/21/11 - Dastan is 2 months old today. He is getting so big, he weighs 11lbs 3oz. and is 23 3/4 inches long.

4/20/11 - My smiley little guy!

4/19/11 - Dastan is growing so fast that he is already out of his newborn clothes :(

4/18/11 - Dastan is getting so strong, he held his head like this for 1 1/2 minutes.
