4/3/11-4/16/11

Dastan has done quite a few little milestones in the past two weeks, so most of the pictures are of him. At some point I am going to try to focus a week on Triston and one on Keegan.

4/16/11- Today we went to a friend's house and did an Easter egg/beer hunt. The egg's were for the kids and they had a blast finding them, Then while they were going through their candy and playing, the wives (including me) hid six beers for our men. The catch, they find a beer and have to stand where they found it and drink it before they can move onto the next one. We were nice and hid them in semi-easy spots since it was raining. Ian came in 2nd place with finding and drinking his in just under 50 min. The winner found and drank his in 10 min...Crazy!! All in all it was a fun day for everyone! Oh and we had to decorate the beers in very girlie/Easter decorations...these were Ian's.

4/15/11- HARRY POTTER!! We got the 7th Harry Potter movie today and when Triston got home we all watched it. Dastan sat on the couch and watched me instead of the movie, and I pretty much watched him instead as well.
4/14/11- I did a photo shoot for my friend Anna today. Her boy's were great and so cute, I had so much fun and I got some great shots. This was the first photo shoot I did of someone other than my kids and I still have a lot to learn. I am just using my point and shoot camera until I can afford a DSLR, but it works great!

4/13/11- I needed a picture of all three of my boys (still getting use to the fact that I am a mom of 3) for a project I am doing. Oh how I love these little men!

4/12/11- Dastan found his hand today!!

4/11/11- Sometimes you have to do it yourself even if it means getting it wrong (the shorts).

4/10/11- Keegan's first time taking a shower...he has always been scared and still was so he wanted to take one in our shower.

4/9/11- Check out the price of gas. When I got my first car, gas was three dollar's less per gallon then it is now...CRAZY!!!

4/8/11- Dastan has not been eating very much so we decided to try to give him some rice cereal. He did pretty well with it. I love the face he is making in this picture, it reminds me of Mr. Magoo.

4/7/11- Dastan FINALLY likes baths. He was kicking and splashing in the water, and smiling while he was doing so. It's so fun to watch him have fun.

4/6/11- A rock pile Triston and Keegan have built...they like taking their matchbox cars off-roading.

4/5/11- I went shopping for myself today (that hardly ever happens). I needed some post pregnancy clothes and I found some cute stuff at Target.

4/4/11- Keegan found Aslan today!!! She had been gone a total of 17 day's, at least one of those she was 60 feet up a tree. I can only imagine the adventure she has had, She is very skinny, but happy to be home! We are happy to have her home as well. (This picture was taken after she had a bath, which is why she looks wet)

4/3/11- We decided to give Dastan a bath in the sink today...he only cried while daddy was washing his face and hair. I think he liked soaking in the water.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week.

3/27/11 - 4/2/11

It's been a crazy, fun week. Tonight (4-4-11) Keegan found our cat, Aslan. She had been gone for 17 days and, aside from being really skinny, she seems to be okay. This is of course a PL picture that will be on here next week. Now onto this weeks pictures...

4/2/11- The boy's playing together. The older ones got ALL of Dastan's toys and were trying to get him to play with them. At one point he was completely surrounded by his toy's.

4/1/11- For April Fool's Day I froze the kids cereal and then put a little bit on top so when they went to eat it, they couldn't get their spoon's in all the way. It took them awhile to figure it out. 3/31/11- I took Keegan to gymnastics open gym today. He had a blast and really wore me out by going all over the gym.
3/31/11- Keegan making a "2 double pizza" for Dastan and I. It was "gurd!"
3/29/11- My little helper doesn't like to do laundry, but then again, neither do I.
3/28/11- I signed Keegan up for Kindergarten today. How can he already be in Kindergarten?!?!
3/27/11- We got Dastan a snugli, so I can do some things around the house. Guess what. He doesn't like it...go figure.

Have a great week!

3/13/11 - 3/26/11

Can you believe it's almost April!?!? It has been a very busy couple of weeks. We have been sick for most of them, although somehow Dastan stayed healthy. I have managed to get pictures everyday and I hope to someday get them into my album, along with journaling. I have collected a few things that I am going to incorporate into my album this year...so maybe when I get caught up with it I will take pictures of everything. Well onto the post...

3/26/11 - As you can see from the picture, I was in serious need of a new hair-do. It was my post-pregnancy present to myself. I LOVE how it turned out.

3/25/11 - The cats got a present today. We put catnip on the top tier and then put Bear up there. He kinda got stuck, but eventually made it down. 3/24/11 - Triston reading to Keegan, such a wonderful sight! 3/23/11 - Keegan always watches Triston play his DS whenever Triston is playing it, hoping to get a chance to play it himself. Sometimes, every once in awhile, very rarely, Triston shares it.
3/22/11 - Keegan making flyer's to put up for Aslan. *It's been a week and a half and she still isn't home.
3/21/11 - Dastan is 1 month today. He weighs 8lbs and is 20 1/2 inches long. He is still a very happy baby and usually only wakes up twice at night.
3/20/11 - Today is our 7 year anniversary and to celebrate we played video games. There wasn't a whole lot else we could do, but it was fun just hanging out as a family.
3/19/11 - Tonight was the "Supermoon." The moon is closer to earth than it has been in 18 years. this made it look 15% larger than normal.
3/18/11 - Aslan ran away today. We looked everywhere for her. On Sunday (the 20th) Ian found her, but she was 60 feet up in a tree, in the middle of the woods. We tried everything we could to get her down and we were out there til it got dark. I went back out there Monday morning and she was gone. Sure hope she is okay and that she comes home...we miss her!
3/17/11 - Happy St. Patrick's Day. Keegan did his own hair....red spikes!
3/16/11 - I have been taking a picture of Dastan everyday (usually more than one) and I absolutely love this one.
3/15/11 - Dastan was "airing out" and the boy's were playing with him. We kept waiting for one of them to get pee'd on but it never happened.
3/14/11 - Keegan watching Kitchen Boss. He loves this show...actually he loves all shows that have to do with food. He could probably watch the Food network all day long.
3/13/11 - This is part of our everyday. I wash probably 16 bottles a day, 8 in the morning and 8 in the evening.

Hope everyone has a great week!

3/6/11 - 3/12/11

3/12/11 - I finally got Dastan's room decorated. I am really happy with how it turned out, and he really likes to look at the pictures.
3/11/11 - Koda is always sleeping under Dastan's bassinet. I think it's his way of protecting him. This just doesn't look comfortable though.
3/10/11 - My little fly catcher. I love this picture.
3/9/11 - Daddy playing with Dastan, he was mimicing what Dastan was doing.
3/8/11 - Triston got 1st place in the pinewood derby. We are so proud of him and he is proud of himself. This was the winning car!
3/7/11 - Keegan was tired of hearing Dastan cry. He kept saying "Can you get him to stop?"
3/6/11 - Triston and Daddy making Triston's pinewood derby car. Triston designed it all by himself.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!

2/27/11 - 3/5/11

3/5/11 - Aslan loves playing in this closet. We have gone through it several times and there is nothing in there that would make her want to play there.
3/4/11 - Keegan wanted me to take some pictures of him and he came up with his own poses. This is just one of many, he is such a ham.

3/3/11 - Dastan can lift his head while on his tummy. Triston was being a really good big brother and talking to him to try and get him to look at him.

3/2/11 - My Grandpa passed away today. It broke my heart but at least I got to tell him he was a Great-Grandpa again. I am very sad that I won't be able to go home for the funeral. I miss you Papa!

3/1/11 - My Grandpa isn't doing well so my mom is leaving early so she can be home with him. She has been sick most of the time she has been here, so she is getting in some good cuddle time with Dastan.

2/28/11 - Such tiny hands with some long fingers!

2/27/11 - Mimi making receiving blankets for Dastan with Bear's help. He's not this helpful when it's just me here, all he's does is sleep.

Hope you have a great week!

Two weeks old

Dastan you are 2 weeks old today and in honor of that I am going to share some things I have learned in your first two weeks of life.

1) You are a very content and happy baby. You only cry when you need something or when you are getting your diaper changed.

2) No matter who is holding you, you turn your head to try and find me when I start to talk. I love that!

3) You eat every three hours like clockwork.

4) You are our little Houdini. You like to escape out of your blankets when you are swaddled and you escape out of your clothes at night.

5) You like to "Start your motorcycle" as Mimi calls it. You kick your right leg like crazy. Maybe that's how you escape from things.

6) You make lot's of cute noises. You grunt, squeal, squeak, snort, toot and whimper. My favorite is when you whimper, it sounds so pathetic.

7) You grin A LOT. Everyone says that babies don't grin or smile for a couple of months. That might be true, but I can talk to you and get you to grin at me. Daddy can too!

8) You will lay in you swing for awhile and sleep, but you don't like your bouncy seat at all (yet)!
9) You love being in the cocoon's Mimi made for you. You sleep in them during the day and they are so warm and cozy.

10) You love it when I give you a lotion bath, but you scream through regular baths.

11) You actually like tummy time and can already lift your head up and move it from side to side while on your tummy.

12) You get very quiet and just listen when your brothers sing lullabies to you.

13) When we are holding you on the couch, you love to look at the pictures on the wall. I'm pretty sure you can't see them yet, but you are always looking in that direction.

14) You only pee while Daddy is changing your diaper. You have hit him more than a few times.

15) When you sneeze you scare yourself.

16) You are absolutely huggable, kissable, lovable, and snugly. We love you so much and are really enjoying getting to know you.

Happy 2 weeks, Dastan!!
