3/13/11 - 3/26/11

Can you believe it's almost April!?!? It has been a very busy couple of weeks. We have been sick for most of them, although somehow Dastan stayed healthy. I have managed to get pictures everyday and I hope to someday get them into my album, along with journaling. I have collected a few things that I am going to incorporate into my album this year...so maybe when I get caught up with it I will take pictures of everything. Well onto the post...

3/26/11 - As you can see from the picture, I was in serious need of a new hair-do. It was my post-pregnancy present to myself. I LOVE how it turned out.

3/25/11 - The cats got a present today. We put catnip on the top tier and then put Bear up there. He kinda got stuck, but eventually made it down. 3/24/11 - Triston reading to Keegan, such a wonderful sight! 3/23/11 - Keegan always watches Triston play his DS whenever Triston is playing it, hoping to get a chance to play it himself. Sometimes, every once in awhile, very rarely, Triston shares it.
3/22/11 - Keegan making flyer's to put up for Aslan. *It's been a week and a half and she still isn't home.
3/21/11 - Dastan is 1 month today. He weighs 8lbs and is 20 1/2 inches long. He is still a very happy baby and usually only wakes up twice at night.
3/20/11 - Today is our 7 year anniversary and to celebrate we played video games. There wasn't a whole lot else we could do, but it was fun just hanging out as a family.
3/19/11 - Tonight was the "Supermoon." The moon is closer to earth than it has been in 18 years. this made it look 15% larger than normal.
3/18/11 - Aslan ran away today. We looked everywhere for her. On Sunday (the 20th) Ian found her, but she was 60 feet up in a tree, in the middle of the woods. We tried everything we could to get her down and we were out there til it got dark. I went back out there Monday morning and she was gone. Sure hope she is okay and that she comes home...we miss her!
3/17/11 - Happy St. Patrick's Day. Keegan did his own hair....red spikes!
3/16/11 - I have been taking a picture of Dastan everyday (usually more than one) and I absolutely love this one.
3/15/11 - Dastan was "airing out" and the boy's were playing with him. We kept waiting for one of them to get pee'd on but it never happened.
3/14/11 - Keegan watching Kitchen Boss. He loves this show...actually he loves all shows that have to do with food. He could probably watch the Food network all day long.
3/13/11 - This is part of our everyday. I wash probably 16 bottles a day, 8 in the morning and 8 in the evening.

Hope everyone has a great week!

  1. I missed seeing your pictures last week so glad you posted today though. I love that your taking Dastan's picture every month with the little onesie on him. He is getting big so fast. All three boys look adorable in the pictures. Sorry to hear about your cat and hope he comes home soon. I think your haircut looks great. That's always the first thing I do after having one of my babies too, it always feels good. Have a wonderful week.

  4. Thanks for all the nice comments on my blog. It was funny what you said about me liking the giraffe/elephant at my zoo, I didn't even think of how that looks. Should have put giraffe & elephants, haha. Also Alien tag is something my kids and hubby made up, it's a game of tag around the house, my son thought it was a cool name is why. Someone starts out as "it" and the waits in the backyard while the others are in front yard, the person it can run up or sneak up to the front yard to tag whoever he can get and the other people have to run to the back yard and touch the bird cage stand we have. If the tagger doesn't get anyone then they are it again and tries again to get someone, if not then someone has to volunteer to be the tagger. Each year our kids are getting bigger and faster and my hubby is getting older and slower so he has a hard time catching them sometimes. It takes up all their energy playing this game and they all sleep well that night. I never play because I can't run for nothing and would always get caught I'm sure, so I stand outside and cheer them on and take pictures. Have a good week.
